Guarantees, refunds and cancellation
How our guarantees work
This page lists every guarantee Warranty Claim Prep offers, with its conditions, together with our refund and cancellation rules. A promise that is not on this page or in your order confirmation is not a guarantee we make. No guarantee pays you more money than you paid us: a guarantee is honoured as a refund of what you paid, as credit toward our work, or as more work.
Our guarantees
Paid only when the OEM pays
What we promise: A Recovery batch has no fixed fee. You pay only 20% of what the OEM pays on the claims we prepare, as you report it from your own records, for claims submitted within 60 days of the package's delivery (for a short-paid claim, of the amount paid above the earlier payment on the notice you sent). Nothing is owed if the OEM pays nothing.
Conditions: None for owing nothing when the OEM pays nothing. For a fee to be counted, the claim must match our package by repair-order number, claim number or serial and be submitted within 60 days of the package's delivery; you report the payments from your own records when we ask.
What you get: No fee on a claim the OEM pays nothing on. An invoice line is removed if it is not on the OEM's statement, as your own records show, and the fee on an amount the OEM charges back is credited on your next invoice. If no later invoice is due, we refund that fee by ACH or wire within 15 days.
Time limit: None. A claim the OEM pays nothing on is never billed, and a charge-back is credited whenever you report it.
How to claim: Reply to the invoice, or email hello@warrantyclaimprep.com, naming the invoice line and saying, from your own records, that the payment is not on the OEM's statement or that the OEM charged it back.
Who decides: Your own record of the OEM's payment decides. Nothing else is weighed.
Most you can receive: Every fee you paid on invoice lines your records show the OEM did not pay, or charged back.
Refunds
If you ask for your money back, we first offer to credit what you paid toward a redo or another of our offers. If you still want a refund, we refund what you paid. We make that offer once and do not press it, and a refund is never more than you paid. Refunds go back by the method you paid with.
Cancellation
Recovery batch: you may cancel at any time by replying CANCEL to any email from us, or by emailing hello@warrantyclaimprep.com with the word CANCEL; no call, form or reason is needed, and we confirm the cancellation by email. We then prepare no further packages for it. A package already delivered stays billable if you submit its claim within 60 days of delivery and the OEM pays; nothing else is owed.
Monthly claim preparation: Cancellation takes effect 30 days after we receive your notice. A month that starts before then is invoiced in advance as usual and its claims are still prepared; no month that starts after then is invoiced. While it is paused, nothing is invoiced.
Plans that renew automatically are cancelled by replying CANCEL to any email from us, or by emailing hello@warrantyclaimprep.com with the word CANCEL; no call, form or reason is needed. The full renewal and cancellation terms are in our terms of service at https://warrantyclaimprep.com/terms.
